The Watches of Zendaya

What do a struggling LA high schooler, the refreshingly independent love interest of a friendly neighborhood superhero, and a tennis player turned coach have in common? They were all brought to us on screen by the incomparable award-winning actress and fashion icon Zendaya. It’s no surprise that her outfits make their way to the mood boards of many, and her watches – to the lists of collectors.

Bvlgari Serpenti Spiga High Jewelry Watch

An ambassador of the revered Roman high-jewelry house, Zendaya is often spotted wearing Bvlgari timepieces, including the coveted Serpenti Spiga High Jewelry watch. This watch leverages the snake motif – now synonymous with the maison’s creations – which features a unique tiered bracelet that twists and coils around the wrist. This particular iteration is executed in white and rose gold and features a diamond-encrusted dial. 

Panthère de Cartier

During her much-publicized tenure as a tennis player turned coach in a psychosexual sports drama Challengers, Zendaya was sporting a Panthère de Cartier watch (supplemented by a Cartier Trinity necklace and Love bracelet, no less). But even before the film, she was spotted wearing the gold variant of the piece on the streets of New York in 2019. The current iteration of Panthère is equipped with a quartz movement and retains the iconic square dial with Roman numerals present in the original model from the 1980s.

Patek Philippe Nautilus

During the Spiderman: No Way Home press tour, Zendaya was spotted wearing Patek Philippe Nautilus in rose gold with a satin finish and a white dial. The latter one is unique to the 7118 family thanks to its opaline dial with wavy stripes (most other Nautilus pieces feature straight lines instead). This specimen is also equipped with a self-winding mechanical movement caliber 26-330 S C. 

Rolex Daytona Stainless Steel “Panda”

Zendaya not only shines on the silver screen and red carpets but also in candid paparazzi shots taken on the streets of fashion capitals. Pictured here, the actress is wearing a true classic – a Rolex Daytona with a black-and-white bezel, often referred to as, “Panda”.

Bvlgari Octo Solotempo

Much like Zendaya’s career, which transcends genres, her watches remain undefined by femininity. A case in point is her Bvlgari Octo Solotempo. The octagonal dial in black looks stunning against the wide stainless steel bezel, which grants it a slightly brutalist piece. At the same time, the alligator strap of this watch makes it feel almost casual – in the best sense. 

Bvlgari Diva’s Dream

Veritable Met Gala royalty, Zendaya knows a thing or two about jewels – or bejeweled watches. This stunning Diva’s Dream piece from Bvlgari, for example, is a testament to taste and craftsmanship. The bracelet and case of this watch are composed of iconic fan-shaped elements that echo the design language of the maison’s Diva’s Dream high jewelry collections. And, naturally, the dial and bezel of this piece are strewn with diamonds too. 

Rolex Datejust 36 Gold & Steel Champagne Dial

During the dusk of Zendaya’s career at Disney and before she became an international superstar, the actress already had a refined taste in watches. In 2015, she wore a Rolex Datejust 36 in Gold and Steel with a gorgeous champagne sunburst dial. This timepiece also features diamonds for hour markers and a pavé on its bezel.
