BUYING ON WRISTCHECK
1. Stringent Quality Control
As part of our commitment to trust, transparency and authenticity. All watches consigned to us are thoroughly inspected by our in-house watchmakers to guarantee authenticity. Each watch also comes with an extensive report detailing its honest condition for both buyers and sellers to review.
2. Transparent condition reports
Our condition notes reflect every detail that our watchmakers observe while appraising our consigned watches. We grade every watch based on the condition of its case, bracelet, dial, hands, movement, and the overall health and precision of the movement — including amplitude, rate and beat error, tested in 5 positions. This degree of scrutiny has been established to provide maximum peace of mind for buyers.
3. Fair and professional appraisal
Each watch listed on Wristcheck has been appraised by our in-house Watch Specialists based on current market conditions. Our Watch Specialists will regularly inform sellers of price adjustments based on the latest transactions on the secondary market. Please bear in mind, however, that a Wristcheck quotation is merely a suggestion, and that final list price is ultimately determined by our sellers.
4. Honest condition photos
All of our watches’ product and condition photos are produced by our in-house creative team. The images have not been altered and are meant to reflect the true condition of our watches — what you see is what you get.
All of our current listings allow you to purchase a watch directly on Wristcheck.com. To do so you can click the "Buy Now" button on the product detail page.
At checkout, you have two payment options to choose from if the watch you’re purchasing is above $4,500 USD
- Credit Card
If you’re paying with a credit card, please make sure that your credit limit is higher than your total order amount.
- Bank Transfer (with 10% credit card deposit)
If you’re paying by bank transfer, we will hold 10% of the listed price on your credit card and you will have 24 hours to pay the remaining via bank transfer. If your order is lower than $4,500 USD ($35,000 HKD), then paying with a credit card is the only option available.
- Can I view the watches at the Landmark Boutique?
All watches that are viewable at our boutique are labeled “Available in Store”. For the watches only viewable online, they are labeled “Online Exclusive”.

BIDDING ON WRISTCHECK
Making a bid will allow the buyer to set how much they’d like to pay for an item, from a minimum of 25% lower than the stated listing price. It will be up to the seller to determine if they are interested in meeting the buyer’s bid. The seller can then choose to counter offer or accept the bid. When the seller accepts the bid, the transaction will be processed instantly.
Buyers are able to “place a bid” for under the listed price. Sellers then have the option to counter-offer, and so forth, until a deal is made.
To ensure we are facilitating meaningful bids between the buyer and seller, there are few rules:
- There are a maximum of 6 exchanges, which includes bids from buyers and offers from sellers.
- The bidding process expires in 7 days.
- Buyers’ bids: Any submitted bids cannot be lower than 75% of the listed price. Any counter bids from the buyer must be less than the counter offer; otherwise the Buyer can accept the seller’s offer.
- Sellers’ asks: Counter offers must be higher than the last bid, otherwise sellers can accept the proposed bid from buyers.
Credit Card:
If you’re bidding with a credit card, we will hold 100% of the first bidding price on your credit card. (There will be no extra hold on your credit card for subsequent counter bids.)
When the bid is accepted by the seller, we will charge the difference amount of the fees from the said credit card directly.
Bank Transfer (with 10% credit card deposit):
If you’re bidding with bank transfer, we will hold 10% of the credit card fee as the deposit that is non-refundable when the seller accepts the bid. When the bid is accepted, the buyer has 24 hours to complete the payment (90% remaining). If the bidder fails to pay the remaining fees within 24 hours, the order will be canceled and the watch will be available for sale again. However, the deposit will not be refunded to the buyer.
As a buyer, you can cancel your bid any time before it’s accepted by the seller.
Once you submit your Bid, it stays active for 7 days. You’ll receive an email from us when your Bid is about to expire. You can also adjust your Bid amount or cancel it entirely at any point before it matches with an Ask within this 7 day period.
For Credit Card Bidding:
Once a seller accepts an offer, we’ll process the total amount from the buyer’s credit card.
For Bank Transfer Bidding:
Once a seller accepts an offer, the buyer has 24 hours to make full payment. The 10% deposit from the credit card is non-refundable if the buyer fails to complete the transaction within 24 hours.

PRICING
Listing prices are determined based on current market prices and with reference to our own watch specialist, who extensively research all historical transaction prices from auction houses and other watch resellers. Our Watch Specialists conduct frequent price checks and offer price suggestions to sellers so that our listed watches align with fair market pricing, although final list prices are ultimately determined by our sellers.
All watches listed on Wristcheck are consigned to us. It is not uncommon to find that certain watches will trade at a higher price than their original retail price on the secondary market, which is also the case for the sneaker and art markets. Usually, this is caused by high demand for certain brands and models, as well as other factors like the discontinuation of specific models, or the fact that certain watches are produced in very limited quantities.
Yes! As a buyer you are able to submit bids that are lower than the list price. Sellers may choose to accept or submit a counter offer in response. See “Bidding” on Wristcheck FAQ.

Here are some tips on how to ship your watch to us, including how to pack your watch securely so that your watch remains safe and sound during transit:
Disclaimer: Please note that these are only suggestions and Wristcheck is not responsible for any damages even after following the steps listed.
- Avoid using branded packaging. A plain and sturdy cardboard box works best!
- Wrap your watch and all accessories up safely and securely with bubble wrap so as to avoid scratches and damage during transit.
- Along with your watch, please remember to pack all of your watch’s accessories in the cardboard box – its original box, papers and any other parts that it came with upon purchasing. We recommend using bubble wrap for these items as well.
- If your watch’s strap or any of its accessories contain exotic skins, we recommend shipping them in a separate package.
- Pack your bubble-wrapped items in a sturdy cardboard box, sealing it carefully with packing or any kind of heavy duty tape.
- Arrange collection from a trusted courier service with a shipment tracking system. We recommend you use DHL, FedEx, UPS, Malca Amit or Ferrari Logistics.
- If you are based in Hong Kong, you can also choose to drop off your watch at our Landmark boutique in Central, Hong Kong.
