BUYING ON WRISTCHECK
1. Stringent Quality Control
As part of our commitment to trust, transparency and authenticity. All watches consigned to us are thoroughly inspected by our in-house watchmakers to guarantee authenticity. Each watch also comes with an extensive report detailing its honest condition for both Buyers and Sellers to review.
2. Transparent condition reports
Our condition notes reflect every detail that our watchmakers observe while appraising our consigned watches. We grade every watch based on the condition of its case, bracelet, dial, hands, movement, and the overall health and precision of the movement — including amplitude, rate and beat error, tested in 5 positions. This degree of scrutiny has been established to provide maximum peace of mind for Buyers.
3. Fair and professional appraisal
Each watch listed on Wristcheck has been appraised by our in-house Watch Specialists based on current market conditions. Our Watch Specialists will regularly inform Sellers of price adjustments based on the latest transactions on the secondary market. Please bear in mind, however, that a Wristcheck quotation is merely a suggestion, and that final list price is ultimately determined by our Sellers.
4. Honest condition photos
All of our watches’ product and condition photos are produced by our in-house creative team. The images have not been altered and are meant to reflect the true condition of our watches — what you see is what you get.
All of our current listings allow you to purchase a watch directly on Wristcheck.com. To do so you can click the "Buy Now" button on the product detail page.
At checkout, you have two payment options to choose from if the watch you’re purchasing is above $4,500 USD ($35,000 HKD).

MAKE AN OFFER ON WRISTCHECK
Making an offer will allow the Buyer to submit how much they would like to pay for an item within the listings suggested price range. It will be up to the Seller to determine if they are interested in accepting the Buyer’s offer. The Seller can either choose to counter the offer or accept the offer. When the offer is accepted, the transaction will be processed instantly.
Buyers are able to “Make An Offer” under the asking price. Sellers then have the option to counter offer, and so forth, until a deal is complete.
To ensure we are facilitating meaningful offers between the Buyer and Seller, there are few rules:
- There are a maximum of 6 exchanges, which includes offers from Buyers and counteroffers from Sellers.
- The negotiation process expires in 7 days counting from the start of the negotiation period.
- Buyers’ offers: Any submitted offers cannot be lower than the suggested price range. Any new offers from the Buyer must be less than the counteroffers from the Seller; otherwise the Buyer can accept the Seller’s offer.
- Sellers’ counter offers: Counter offers must be higher than the last offer, otherwise Sellers can accept the proposed offer from Buyers.
Credit Card:
If you’re making an offer with a credit card, we will hold 100% of the first offer price on your credit card. (There will be no extra hold on your credit card for subsequent counter bids.)
When the offer is accepted by the Seller, we will charge the difference amount of the fees from the said credit card directly.
Bank Transfer (with 10% credit card hold):
If you’re making an offer and would like to pay with bank transfer, we hold 10% of the credit card fee as the deposit which is non-refundable once the Seller accepts the offer. When the offer is accepted, the Buyer has 24 hours to complete the payment (90% remaining). If the Buyer fails to pay the remaining fees within 24 hours, the order will be canceled and the watch will be available for sale again. However, the deposit will not be refunded to the Buyer.
As a Buyer, you can cancel your offer any time before it’s accepted by the Seller.
Once you submit your offer, it stays active for 7 days. You’ll receive an email from us when your offer is about to expire. You can also adjust your offer amount or cancel it entirely at any point before either party accepts within the 7 day negotiation period.
For Credit Card offer:
Once a Seller accepts an offer, we’ll process the total amount from the Buyer’s credit card.
For Bank Transfer offer:
Once a Seller accepts an offer, the Buyer has 24 hours to complete the payment. The 10% deposit from the credit card is non-refundable if the Buyer fails to complete the transaction within 24 hours.

PRICING
Listing prices are determined based on current market prices and with reference to our own watch specialist, who extensively research all historical transaction prices from auction houses and other watch pre-owned platforms. Our Watch Specialists conduct frequent price checks and offer price suggestions to Sellers so that our listed watches align with fair market pricing, although final list prices are ultimately determined by our Sellers.
All watches listed on Wristcheck are consigned to us. It is not uncommon to find that certain watches will trade at a higher price than their original retail price on the secondary market, which is also the case for the sneaker and art markets. Usually, this is caused by high demand for certain brands and models, as well as other factors like the discontinuation of specific models, or the fact that certain watches are produced in very limited quantities.
Yes! As a Buyer you are able to submit offers that are lower than the asking price. Sellers may choose to accept or submit a counter offer in response. See “Make An Offer” on Wristcheck FAQ.
