Established in 1884 by Greek silversmith Sotirio Bulgari, Bulgari (stylized as BVLGARI) quickly became synonymous with Italian craftsmanship and decadent high jewelery. 

Capitalizing on the booming post-war era, Sotirio’s sons Giorgio and Costantino - who had worked closely alongside their father - turned Bulgari into a favorite of the international jetset; with the brand proving especially popular among legendary European actresses such as Ingrid Bergman and Elizabeth Taylor. 

Once thought of solely as a purveyor of Roman luxury goods, for the last 30 years Bulgari has toiled to transform itself into a world-class watchmaker. After acquiring Gerald Genta and Daniel Roth SA in 2000, the brand was itself integrated into LVMH Group - where it has remained the crown jewel in the watchmaking division for over a decade. 

Under the leadership of Creative Director Fabrizio Buonomassa Stigliani, who often turns to industrial design for inspiration, Bulgari has become synonymous with the Octo Finissimo - a “future classic” in the world of braceleted, ultra-thin watches.
