As the season of red carpets kicks off, a swarm of Hollywood elite graced LA's Peacock Theater for the 76th Primetime Emmy Awards on Sunday. After being delayed by strikes last year, the Emmys have returned to their usual September slot and continue to offer a glimpse into potential winners at upcoming award shows. And as always, fashion trends are set in motion on this illustrious night, paving the way for what we can expect to see on future red carpets.

The evening saw a sea of elegant dark gowns and tuxedos, with many renowned celebrities choosing timeless silhouettes and chic column dresses. But amongst the classic ensembles, there were examples of interesting wristwear, from Elizabeth Debicki’s outstanding Vacheron Constantin Heure Discréte to Taika Waititi’s rare variation of the IWC Portugieser.

Here are the watches that, in our hearts, swept all the awards.

Elizabeth Debicki and Her VACHERON CONSTANTIN Heure Discréte White Gold with Diamonds

The prestigious Emmy award now belongs to the talented Australian actress, Elizabeth Debicki. At the highly anticipated 2024 Emmys, the 34-year-old beauty was honored with the best supporting actress in a drama for her portrayal of Princess Diana in Netflix's hit series, The Crown. Making history as the first Australian to win in this category, Debicki's performance as the iconic royal captivated audiences during the fifth and sixth seasons of the show. Her character's final moments were showcased in the sixth and last season, chronicling Diana's tumultuous relationship with Dodi Fayed and their tragic death in a car crash in 1997. For this momentous occasion, Debicki donned a stunning black velvet Dior gown, perfectly complemented by an elegant Vacheron Constantin Heure Discréte White Gold with Diamonds shaped into a delicate fan design.

Hiroyuki Sanada and His IWC Portugieser Automatic 5N Gold 42MM

During the 76th Primetime Emmy Awards, Hiroyuki Sanada made history as the second-ever Asian performer to receive the Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series award for his role in FX's Shogun. The prolific Japanese actor was praised for his brilliant portrayal of Lord Yoshii Toranaga in the first season of the acclaimed series. This win marks a monumental achievement in Sanada's six-decade-long career, following Lee Jung-jae's groundbreaking win in 2022 for Netflix's Squid Game. On the red carpet, Sanada exuded elegance with a navy blue suit that perfectly complemented his IWC Portugieser Automatic watch with a striking yellow gold case.

Antony Starr and His VACHERON CONSTANTIN Fiftysix Day-Date Pink Gold 40MM

On Sunday, Antony Starr from The Boys taught the rest of the boys a lesson in style by rocking an exquisite Vacheron Constantin watch. This timepiece pays homage to a classic VC design from 1956, boasting a 40 mm pink gold case with lugs modeled after the sides of the iconic Maltese cross. Its silver-toned dial showcases a power reserve and day and date displays, while the transparent back exposes the intricate movement within. This coveted piece comes with a hefty price tag of $44,500.

Jelly Roll and His AUDEMARS PIGUET Royal Oak Offshore Selfwinding Chronograph Steel 43MM

In a powerful Emmys debut on a Sunday evening, Nashville's own Jelly Roll graced the stage to accompany the "in memoriam" segment with his soulful ballad "I Am Not Okay". Dressed in a sharp all-black suit, he commanded the center of the stage while a string section added depth and emotion to his performance. As the names and faces of beloved celebrities who passed away this year scrolled behind him on the large screen, including icons like Richard Simmons, Martin Mull, Shannen Doherty, Carl Weathers, Richard Lewis, Donald Sutherland, and James Earl Jones who died just a week before at the age of 93, Jelly Roll stood tall. As a final touch to his poignant performance, he wore a sleek Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore Selfwinding Chronograph in steel with a black bezel and grand tapisserie dial that perfectly mirrored the gravity of the moment.

Rob McElhenney and His CARTIER Pasha de Cartier Tourbillon Rose Gold 41MM

Actor, screenwriter, and producer most known for bringing to life the comedy landmark that is It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Rob McElhenney, looked nothing short of suave at the 76th Primetime Emmys award ceremony. McElhenney took the stage with his wife and It’s Always Sunny co-star Kaitlin Olson to present the award for Outstanding Actress in a Comedy Series. The actor wore a dapper bluish-gray suit with a black bowtie and a shimmering diamond brooch shaped like a pair of stars. What made his ensemble even more elegant was his Pasha de Cartier Tourbillon in rose gold with striking cobalt blue hands.

Ronny Chieng and His ROLEX GMT-Master “Rootbeer” Steel 40MM

The host of The Daily Show, Ronny Chieng, won the award in the Outstanding Talk Series category at the 2024 Primetime Emmys. The provocative comedian rocked up to the ceremony in a sleek tuxedo, and, under his pristine white cuff, there was a Rolex GMT-Master II “Rootbeer” peeking out. The white-and-brown bezel of this piece was matched with a colorful strap.

Quinta Brunson and Her Tiffany & Co. Blue Book 2002 BOTANICA White Gold Diamond Watch

Quinta Brunson is one of the few Hollywood stars to receive multiple nominations at a single awards show. As she arrived at the prestigious 2024 Emmys, where she's up for Best Actress in a Comedy Series, Best Comedy Series, and Best Writing for a Comedy Series, all eyes were on her stunning ensemble. She donned an ethereal iridescent mermaid gown by designer Georges Chakra that seemed to flow like liquid as she glided down the red carpet. Adding to the glamor was Brunson's luxurious timepiece - a dazzling Tiffany & Co. Blue Book 2002 BOTANICA watch in elegant white gold, adorned with shimmering diamonds.

Matt Bomer and His OMEGA Seamaster Aqua Terra Shades Steel 34MM

All eyes were on Matt Bomer and Jonathan Bailey as they arrived at the prestigious 2024 Emmy Awards held at LA's Peacock Theater. Bomer was turning heads in a sharp plum-colored suit. But it was his OMEGA Seamaster Aqua Terra Shades that truly stole the show – a sleek steel design with a blush-pink polished dial that added an elegant touch to his ensemble. The two were also nominated for their outstanding performances in Fellow Travelers, while the series itself received a nomination for Outstanding Writing for a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie.

Taylor Zakhar Perez and His VACHERON CONSTANTIN Patrimony Pink Gold 40MM

Decked out in a suave, head-to-toe Gucci ensemble, Taylor Zakhar Perez commanded the attention of all eyes at last night's Emmy Awards. But it was his choice of wristwear that truly stole the show. Sporting the classic and sophisticated Vacheron Constantin Patrimony, he exuded a timeless charm reminiscent of Hollywood's golden age. The slim silhouette and brown leather strap added a touch of understated elegance, while the rose gold case made a bold statement on the red carpet. It was a flawless combination that oozed confidence and style.

Taika Waititi and His IWC Portugieser Perpetual Calendar 5N Gold 44.2MM

Despite the trend of dainty watches in Hollywood, director Taika Waititi confidently sports a larger timepiece - the IWC Portugieser Perpetual Calendar 44. This watch, which has rarely been seen in public until last night, is fitting for Waititi who wears many hats as an actor, director, producer, and lover of Rita Ora. Its 44mm face showcases day, date, and month displays along with standard time-telling features. While its thickness may pose a challenge when paired with a suit, Waititi effortlessly pulls off this statement piece.

Bowen Yang and His CARTIER Tank Louis Cartier Yellow Gold 33.7MM x 25.5MM

Comedian and a true Hollywood starlet in his own right, Bowen Yang, stole the show together with his Saturday Night Live co-stars and alumni Maya Rudolph, Kristen Wiig, and Seth Meyers when they took the stage to present the award for outstanding writing for a variety program. During their speech, the comedians lovingly poked fun at the long-time SNL producer Lorne Michaels. Yang wore a stunning ivory suit with a shawl-lapelled jacket, which looked spectacular styled with his Tank Louis Cartier in yellow gold with a burgundy dial.

Mekhi Phifer and His HUBLOT Classic Fusion Black Magic Ceramic 42MM

At the 2024 Primetime Emmys, TV Doctor Mekhi Phifer (E.R.) took it to the stage to present outstanding writing for a drama category alongside The Mindy Project's Mindy Kaling, Scrubs' Zach Braff. The actor paired his elegant black tuxedo with a sleek Hublot Classic Fusion Black Magic in ceramic.
