The Coolest Watches at The Louis Vuitton Spring/Summer 2025 Show
Apart from a plethora of amazing menswear, there were some impressive watches spotted at the latest Louis Vuitton show
It’s been a year since Pharell Williams showed his first show for Louis Vuitton as creative director of menswear. While his debut collection could be described as a kaleidoscopic retrospective of the maison’s proud heritage, the spring/summer 2025 range was several orders of magnitude more concise and tame. The show also signaled a few menswear trends we should expect to inevitably take the stage in the next year or so, like Bermuda shorts, skinny tailored pants, cargo blazers, and tiny ties.
And yes, while Paris Fashion Week is the time for clothes to take center stage, we, as dedicated horologists and horologers, looked at the front row for exciting timepieces. Spoiler alert: there were some wild ones.
Here are the watches at the Louis Vuitton Spring/Summer 2025 Fashion Show:
Pharell Williams and His Casio Richard Mille RM UP-01 Ferrari
The man, the legend, the vision himself, Pharrell Williams never fails to impress with his watches. The creative director wore a rare Richard Mille RM UP-01 Ferrari to his spring/summer 2025 show. The unique design of this timepiece echoes Williams’s eclectic vision. The ultra-flat “racing machine for the wrist” features a limited-edition manual winding movement and a case made from Grade 5 titanium designed in a monobloc construction that maximizes its water resistance.
Central Cee and His G-SHOCK 6900 Series 25th Anniversary
British rapper Central Cee attended the Louis Vuitton spring/summer 2025 show wearing his Casio G-SHOCK 6900 Series 25th Anniversary. While some might think this is a rather odd watch to bring to a fashion show, we think it couldn’t be more fitting, given how Louis Vuitton’s vision of luxury has always lied in its subversion since the late Virgil Abloh’s era.
Stormzy and His AP Royal Oak Frosted Gold Double Balance Wheel Openworked
Rapper Stromzy attended the Louis Vuitton spring/summer 2025 show wearing none other than Audemars Piguet's Royal Oak Frosted Gold Double Balance Wheel Openworked. This timepiece catches the eye from whichever angle one might look at it: from its shimmering case and bracelet to the colorful baguette-cut gemstones adorning its bezel and, naturally, the magnificently complex movement peeking through its skeletonized dial.
Swae Lee and His AP Royal Oak Offshore Titanium Music Edition
Genre-bending rapper Swae Lee showed up to the latest Louis Vuitton show wearing his Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore Titanium Music Edition. In line with Swae Lee’s eclectic and subversive music, this watch adopts a unique textured dial that mimics the equalizer, while its bursts of color are echoed by the teal-and-yellow strap.
Didier Drogba and His Richard Mille RM 67-01 Extra Flat Titanium
There was a trend for ultra-flat watches at the Louis Vuitton show this season, it seems, as attested by the former professional footballer Didier Drogba. The ex-Chelsea FC player wore a Richard Mille RM 67-01 Extra Flat Titanium, which features a skeletonized automatic movement with hours, minutes, date, and functions indicators.
Michael Fassbender and His Rolex Daytona Stainless Steel Black Dial
Three-time Golden Globe-winning actor Michael Fassbender attended the Louis Vuitton spring/summer 2025 show wearing a classic Rolex Daytona in stainless steel with a black dial. This timeless watch balances the sporty with dressy thanks to its large dial, Oyster bracelet, and satin finish.
Pusha T and His Rolex Day-Date 40 White Gold with Diamonds and Sapphires
It’s surprising how rapper Pusha T didn’t blind the models at the Louis Vuitton spring/summer 2025 show with his blinged-out Rolex Day-Date. This extravagant timepiece has a dial completely covered in a diamond pavé with baguette-cut sapphire accents at 6 and 9 o’clock. The watch naturally also has a diamond halo for the bezel (because why not?) and is mounted on a sleek Oyster bracelet.
Stefon Diggs and His AP Royal Oak Black Ceramic Chronograph
NFL’s Stefon Diggs also attended the Louis Vuitton spring/summer 2025 show. The footballer wore Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Black Ceramic Chronograph. This watch, beloved by countless celebrities, is known for its sleek polished ceramic case and a beautiful black grand tapisserie dial. The rose gold accents on the subdials and hour markers of this sports watch also lend it a sophisticated charm.
Wizkid and His Richard Mille RM 030 Rose Gold
Singer and songwriter Wizkid was among the guests at the Louis Vuitton spring/summer 2025 show wearing a Richard Mille. The model is RM 030 in rose gold with a skeletonized automatic movement RMAR1 with seconds, hours, minutes, and date, along with winding and power reserve indicators.
Rema and His Rolex Datejust 41 Oystersteel & White Gold Green Dial
Afrobeats musical artist Rema came to the Louis Vuitton spring/summer 2025 show wearing a classic Rolex Datejust Oyster steel. This iteration also features a stunning Jubilee bracelet and a teal-green sunburst dial, making it a timeless yet noticeable accessory.
Tyshawn Jones and His Rolex GMT-Master II “Sprite”
Ever the favorite among celebrities, Rolex GMT-Master “Sprite” also made an appearance at the Louis Vuitton spring/summer 2025 show – on skateboarder Tyshawn Jones’s wrist. This piece earned its name thanks to its two-toned black-and-green bezel, which works beautifully against its black dial with geometric hour markers.
Xu Minghao and His Louis Vuitton Escale Rose Gold
Member of South Korean boy band Seventeen, Xu Minghao also was spotted at the Louis Vuitton spring/summer 2025 show. This generation’s it-boy wore the newly-launched LV Escale in rose gold. This watch features a gorgeous silvery bezel surrounding the white dial, which works beautifully with its orange calfskin leather strap.
