Watches of the 2025 MET Gala: Who Wore What

The 2025 Met Gala – themed "Superfine: Tailoring Black Style" – was a vibrant tribute to Black history, culture, and fashion. But it was the watches on the wrists that quietly stole the spotlight.

The 2025 Met Gala was a celebration of Black style, history, and culture – and the red carpet delivered. Celebrities paid homage to Black dandyism and iconic figures through bold, tailored looks: think theatrical suits, exaggerated silhouettes, and fresh, modern spins on classic tailoring. This year, watches played a bigger role than ever – integrated into outfits and styled with intention. Some were subtly tucked under cuffs, others were boldly built into the outfits themselves.

We rounded up our favorite Wristchecks (or should we say #Timechecks?) from this year’s Gala.

Janelle Monáe

Janelle Monáe wore not one, but two timepieces: a fully-functional monocle watch and a pink gold Vacheron Constantin Fiftysix with a black dial.

Khaby Lame

Khaby Lame showed up with a variety of pocket watches adorning his waistcoat.

Shah Rukh Khan

Avid collector Shah Rukh Khan wore a Patek Philippe Grand Complications Minute Repeater Retrograde Perpetual Calendar Rose Gold with Baguette-cut Diamonds with an estimated market value of over US$2,500,000.

Colman Domingo

Omega ambassador Colman Domingo got collectors talking when he showed up wearing what appears to be an unreleased Moonshine Gold Speedmaster.

A$AP Rocky

A$AP Rocky wore the Bulgari the Octo Finissimo Ultra COSC Titanium, thinnest COSC-certified chronometer watch in the world.

Henry Golding

Henry Golding wasted no time getting his hands on the new 2025 Cartier Tank À Guichets in yellow gold.

Doechii

Doechii wore a Tiffany & Co. Eternity watch in yellow gold with a diamond-set case and a mother-of-pearl dial.

Maluma

Maluma hit the carpet in the Jacob & Co. Billionaire III — fully iced out in baguette-cut emeralds.

Serena Williams & Simone Biles

Serena Williams & Simone Biles were both wearing the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Mini in frosted white gold.

Walton Goggins

Walton Goggins was spotted wearing the newly released Vacheron Constantin Traditionnelle Complete Calendar Openface Platinum, part of the brand's special 270th anniversary collection.

Hailey Bieber

Hailey Bieber wore a vintage diamond-set white gold Audemars Piguet watch with an Opal dial.

Tyler Perry

Tyler Perry wore the rare Richard Mille RM47 Manual Winding Tourbillon “Samurai.”

Jon Batiste

Jon Batiste was spotted wearing the new animal-inspired jewelry Panthère de Cartier featuring a blend of zebra and tiger print.

Lorde

Lorde wore a Cartier Baignoire jewelry watch in white gold with diamonds.

Olivier Rousteing

Olivier Rousteing paired his outfit with the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak “Jumbo” extra-thin in yellow gold with yellow sapphires.

Jeremy Allen White

Jeremy Allen White wore the Jaeger le-Coultre Reverso Tribute Monoface Small Seconds in pink gold.

Pusha T

Pusha T wore the ever-coveted Rolex Rainbow Daytona.

Shaboozey

Shaboozey wore an Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Mid Size with a turquoise blue dial.

Stormzy

Stormzy was seen in a platinum Patek Philippe Nautilus with baguette diamonds on the bezel.

Saquon Barkley

Running Back Saquon Barkley matched his suit with the H. Moser & Cie Endeavour Tourbillon Concept Vantablack.

From full looks to finishing touches, watches are now part of the fashion conversation, and nowhere was that clearer than this year’s Met Gala, where watches stole the spotlight on the carpet – at least for us. And we're most certainly here for it.
