About the Model

A GMT-Master II That's As Refreshing As Sprite

This Rolex Oyster Perpetual GMT-Master II, also known as the 'Sprite', features a black dial that is perfectly complemented by the two-color Cerachrom bezel insert in green and black ceramic, giving the watch a distinctive and eye-catching look. The 40mm Oystersteel case, water-resistant up to 100 meters, is both durable and elegant, and is paired with a flat three-piece link Oyster bracelet.

The watch allows the wearer to easily keep track of two different time zones simultaneously, thanks to the 24-hour rotatable bezel and arrow-tipped hand that circles the dial once every 24 hours. The Cyclops lens makes reading the date at 3 o'clock effortless, while the left-sided crown and crown guard add a unique flavor to the watch. Powered by the Manufacture Rolex 3285 automatic movement, it offers a power reserve of around 70 hours.

About
Rolex

The Founder

Known for models such as the Submariner, GMT Master, and the Cosmograph Daytona, Rolex has long been considered a collector’s essential. Although it’s the world's largest manufacturer of luxury Swiss chronometers today, it was born into humble beginnings as a timepiece distributor in London, established by the 24-year-old Hans Wilsdorf in 1905. He eventually trademarked the name Rolex in 1908 and relocated its headquarters to Geneva, where Rolex is still based today.

At a time when wristwatches were but a whimsical daydream, Wilsdorf anticipated them to be worn on the wrist someday and therefore set out on a mission to make the most accurate and dependable tool watches for professionals.
