The IWC Big Pilot’s Watch Spitfire (ref. IW329701) reimagines one of the brand’s most iconic designs through the lens of military-inspired functionality, rendered here in ultralight titanium. Its matte finish and austere black dial channel the utilitarian aesthetic of vintage cockpit instruments, underscoring the reference’s Spitfire lineage.

Measuring 43mm across, the titanium case offers modern wrist presence while remaining highly wearable thanks to its reduced weight. The dial features large Arabic numerals, rhodium-plated hands with luminous inserts, and a prominent triangle marker at 12 o’clock – all hallmarks of the original B-Uhr layout. Powering the watch is IWC’s in-house calibre 82100, equipped with Pellaton winding and a 60-hour power reserve, protected within a soft-iron inner case for anti-magnetic resistance. Water-resistance is rated to 100 metres.

Introduced in 2021, this reference marked a key evolution in the Big Pilot collection, offering the classic tool-watch DNA in a more accessible 43mm format without the date window or power reserve indicator, giving purists a cleaner, more historically rooted dial layout.
