The Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore (ref. 26176FO.OO.D101CR.02), known among collectors as the “BumbleBee,” made its debut in 2009 as one of the earliest forged carbon variants in the Offshore line. The nickname stems from its striking contrast: a blackened case and dial punctuated by vivid yellow numerals and accents, giving the piece a distinctly aggressive yet playful character.

Its 42mm case is rendered in forged carbon—a lightweight, high-strength material developed in-house—paired with a black ceramic bezel and secured by a PVD-coated stainless steel caseback. The black Mega Tapisserie dial is defined by Arabic numerals coated in bright yellow luminova, offering excellent low-light legibility and distinguishing this version from its non-luminova sibling, ref. 26176FO.OO.D101CR.01. At its heart is the self-winding calibre 3126/3840, delivering a 50-hour power reserve and housed within a structure water-resistant to 100m.
