Patek Philippe has just announced its latest lineup of new releases this year at Watches and Wonders – including a welcome 40mm white gold version of the Cubitus, alongside a host of new heavy-hitting complication timepieces. Fresh material combinations, new grand complications, as well as movement upgrades – there's quite a bit to cover, so let's dive in.

Patek Philippe Quadruple Complication Reference 5308G-001

Patek Philippe's 2025 lineup starts strong with the Quadruple Complication Reference 5308G-001. First introduced during the 2023 "Watch Art" Grand Exhibition in Tokyo, this model now enters Patek's regular collection in a 42mm white gold case with ice blue dial. The watch combines a minute repeater with chime on two gongs, an instantaneous perpetual calendar, and a split-seconds monopusher chronograph - all powered by the new self-winding R CHR 27 PS QI movement. With 799 components - including two new patented innovations for energy management - it most definitely represents Patek's technical ambitions for the coming year.

Patek Philippe Calatrava 8 Day Reference 5328G-001

With the new Calatrava 8-Day Ref. 5328G-001, Patek Philippe delivers what might be the grail everyday watch (budget permitting, obviously) - one that combines practical complications with real-world durability.

Recognizing that not everyone has time for daily winding, they've equipped this 41mm white gold piece with their new manually-wound Caliber 31-505 8J PS IRM CI J, offering an 8-day power reserve with instantaneous day and date displays. Set it down for a week, pick it back up, and it'll still show the correct time and calendar information - just remember to wind it weekly (the power reserve indicator at 12 o'clock helps).

The textured dial and "Clous de Paris" caseband guilloché add subtle sportiness to the classic Calatrava design, while maintaining excellent legibility. And though the 41mm case leans on the larger side for a Patek dress watch, it definitely shows the brand's commitment to movement-to-case proportion - the new caliber fits perfectly within these dimensions.

Patek Philippe Split-Seconds Chronograph Reference 5370R-001

The new Patek Philippe Split-Seconds Chronograph Ref. 5370R-001 fills the gap left by the discontinued 5370P-011 – and for the first time, it arrives in rose gold. The warm hue of the case is paired with a brown Grand Feu enamel dial, featuring subdials and a tachymeter scale in beige champlevé enamel. Rose gold Breguet numerals complete the refined aesthetic. Powering it is the same manual-wound CHR 29-535 PS movement as its predecessor, maintaining Patek’s signature split-seconds chronograph performance.

Patek Philippe Retrograde Perpetual Calendar Reference 6159G-001

Given the strong collector response to the highly sought-after Reference 5316/50P, Patek Philippe wasn't about to limit that beautiful smoked sapphire dial to just one ultra-high-end model. Their solution? Remove the minute repeater and tourbillon, keeping only the retrograde perpetual calendar complication. The result is the new Retrograde Perpetual Calendar Reference 6159G-001 - offering the same stunning dial in a more accessible, wearable package.

Its 39.5mm white gold case features a slimmer profile while maintaining Patek's signature design codes, including the iconic hobnail pattern on both bezel and caseback.

Patek Philippe Cubitus References 7128/1G-001 & 7128/1R-001

Since the debut of the Patek Philippe Cubitus collection October last year, collectors have been asking for a smaller version – and Patek President Thierry Stern hinted it was coming. Now, Patek delivers with two new 40mm references (sized down from 45mm):

  • Ref. 7128/1G-001: White gold case with a sunburst blue-gray dial, horizontally embossed
  • Ref. 7128/1R-001: Rose gold case with a sunburst brown dial, horizontally embossed

Both models retain the Cubitus’ distinctive design codes but in a more wearable size, which we're definitely excited to see.

Patek Philippe Calatrava Reference 6196P-001

Whether you collect Patek Philippe or not, there’s no denying the Maison’s mastery of time-only watches. The legendary Ref. 96 – Patek’s first round watch, launched in the 1930s – remains highly sought after today. That heritage now continues with the brand new Calatrava Ref. 6196P-001.

Housed in a 38mm platinum case, the watch features a rose-gilt opaline "salmon" dial – a vintage-inspired touch that complements the Calatrava’s clean lines. Inside, the Caliber 30-255 PS delivers the precision you’d expect – and of course, its movement architecture and finishing are best appreciated through the caseback.
