New Rolex Watch Releases In 2024: A Brief Look Into Rolex Watches Launched This Year

The New Rolex GMT-Master II

The 2024 Rolex GMT-Master II is offered in two versions. Both crafted in Oystersteel, one is paired with an Oyster bracelet, while the other with a Jubilee bracelet. For the first time, the GMT-Master II in Oystersteel features a Cerachrom bezel insert in grey and black ceramic. The green 24-hour hand adds a hint of colour to the overall monochromatic aesthetics of the 40mm watch. Powered by the self-winding 3285 movement, the latest GMT-Master II receives around a 70-hour power reserve.

Four New Versions Of The Rolex Day-Date

The new Rolex Day-Date watches unveiled in 2024 are available in four versions. The first version is the 18K Everose gold Oyster Perpetual Day-Date 40 presented with a slate ombré dial for a delicate contrast. A first for the Day-Date, the second version in 18K white gold features a white mother-of-pearl dial with 10 baguette-cut diamond hour markers. Next in line are slender Day-Date 36 watches, where the first iteration is the 18K yellow gold Day-Date 36 with white lacquer dial with Roman numerals and faceted index hour markers, and the second reference is presented in an 18K Everose gold with a blue-green dial.

The All-New Rolex Perpetual 1908 In Platinum

First introduced in 2023, Rolex adds a new dress watch to the Perpetual 1908 collection this year. The ice blue dial matches the shade of the platinum case of the newest Perpetual 1908. The rice-grain motif on the dial is created using the guilloche technique and the cool blue colour of the watch face seamlessly blends in with the silvery white glow of the platinum body. The 39mm case is paired with a matt brown alligator leather strap and houses the self-winding 7140 movement, which gives the dress watch a power reserve of around 66 hours.

The First Rolex Deep-Sea In Yellow Gold

The Rolex 2024 Deep-Sea is a 44mm 18K yellow gold watch that features a striking blue dial. For the first time, a Rolex Deep-Sea watch is crafted in this precious material, featuring an exquisite combination of gold, ceramic, and titanium elements. The compression ring is made from blue ceramic for a more integrated appeal of the watch. Showcasing Rolex's technical prowess, the latest Deep-Sea can withstand depths of up to 3,900 metres. Powered by the self-winding 3235 movement, the in-house engine churns out a power reserve of approximately 70 hours.

Two New Rolex Oyster Perpetual Cosmograph Daytonas

This year, Rolex has presented two new iterations of the Oyster Perpetual Cosmograph Daytona, both made from 18K white gold. For the first iteration, the dial features a white mother-of-pearl dial, and the second features a black mother-of-pearl dial. An emblematic feature of the Cosmograph Daytona, the tachymetric scale of the new references is replaced with a bezel set with 36 brilliant-cut diamonds. The 4131 chronograph movement revs the two 40mm models, producing approximately 72 hours of power reserve.

The Rolex Oyster Perpetual Sky-Dweller With A Jubilee Bracelet

The Rolex Oyster Perpetual Sky-Dweller in 18K Everose or yellow gold is available with the Jubilee bracelet for the first time. Paired with a slate dial on the Sky-Dweller in Everose gold and with a serene white dial on the model in yellow gold, the Jubilee bracelet also features ceramic inserts inside the links. The Sky-Dweller displays the time in two time zones simultaneously and has an annual calendar. The latest 42mm Sky-Dwellers are powered by the self-winding 9002 movement with around a 72-hour power reserve.
