About
Roger Dubuis

The Founder

Beginning his career at Longines in the 1950s, Roger Dubuis would go on to achieve critical acclaim for his body of work at Patek Philippe - where the Swiss-born watchmaker spent 14 years working in the storied Maison’s complications department.

An avid disciple of complicated watchmaking, Dubuis’s first significant freelance commission came in the mid-1980s - when he collaborated with Jean-Marc Wiederrecht (founder of complications firm Agenhor) on the production of a retrograde perpetual calendar module.

After meeting designer and businessman Carlos Dias, Dubuis was able to establish his own eponymous label, which began production of watches in 1995. He remained with the business until 2003.
