Excalibur

A true work of art and a true work of craftsmanship, the Roger Dubuis Excalibur The Knights of the Round Table III ref. RDDBEX0684 is a watch that will leave anyone completely speechless. It is a remarkable embodiment of the brand's dedication to storytelling and artistry. Limited to only 28 pieces, the watch is a meeting of a timeless legend with exceptional watchmakers to depict the story and essence of the legendary knights of the round table. The 47mm case of the watch is crafted with rose gold and beautifully polished to create an extremely clean and luxurious look, along with a blue alligator leather strap that adds to the already elegance of the watch. The dial, however, is where all the magic happens. There are 12 knights, each acting as an hour marker, designed in low poly, which is a 3D modeling technique that relies on a number of smaller polygons to create minimalist sculptures. Each knight is then cast in rose gold, engraved, and lastly, hand-finished. The blue crystal-like structure acting as the knight's table is crafted from hand-shaped wedge blocks of enamel, and when combined takes approximately 50 hours to finish. The whole process is an extremely meticulous and intricate process, and it truly takes a specialized watchmaker to be able to create a dial as magnificent as this one. On the case back, beautifully engraved is the knights' pledge "Around this table, the bravest knights will gather as equals. They will set forth in search of adventure, righting wrongs, protecting the weak and humbling the proud." Every single detail, even the most minuscule ones have been taken into account and in the end as a whole has formed to become a true collector's timepiece. With such a limited amount of this timepiece, the demand will be extremely high - a truly modern, exuberant artwork that intertwines itself with a legendary story.&nbsp;
