Released in 2024, it refines proportions and movement architecture while staying true to the Portugieser’s elegantly nautical design language. The silver dial sets a refined tone, anchored by clean Arabic numerals and the signature 6 o’clock power-reserve indicator.

This updated Automatic 42 version features a 42.4mm stainless steel case with a polished bezel and 12.9mm profile, preserving the Portugieser’s balanced wrist presence. At its heart is the calibre 52011 – a next-generation upgrade of the 52010, known for its use in select Big Pilot models. The movement delivers an impressive 7-day power reserve via IWC’s twin-barrel system and Pellaton winding. Though robust, the design remains refined, housed under sapphire crystal and paired with a transparent caseback. Water resistance is rated to 30 metres.
