Royal Oak Offshore

Audemars Piguet's history and reputation in the industry are impossible to ignore as they stand at the pinnacle of horology with a select few. The Royal Oak was first launched in 1972 during Baselworld, and since then has been revered by the entire industry, becoming a true icon within the horology world. The Royal Oak Offshore's inception came in 1993, heavily inspired by the Royal Oak, however, with a much thicker case and a sportier outlook. Nonetheless, without surprise, the Offshore model became a staple within AP, and the watch industry as well. In 1997, Royal Oak Offshore launched its first limited edition model titled "End of Days" ref. 25770SN.OO.0001KE.01, in collaboration with Arnold Schwarzenegger whilst he was shooting the blockbuster movie 'End of Days'. Not only was this the first limited edition run that the Offshore model, but it was also one of the first PVD watches to be ever made and fitted with a charcoal kevlar aramid fiber strap, and an additional black leather strap which was interchangeable. With only 500 pieces available, this is a monumental timepiece that has a lot of significant and iconic memories and history that are attached to it. The case of the watch is 42mm stainless steel with PVD coating, with a black dial complimented with yellow Arabic numerals and hands. It is powered by calibre AP2226/2840 with 42hrs of power reserve and is an extremely capable watch perfect for both outdoor activities and also formal events as well. To own a timepiece like this is to own a part of Audemars Piguet's Royal Oak Offshore history, and their journey of becoming one of the staple watch models in the industry. &nbsp;
