Tudor

Named after the eponymous English royal family, Tudor was established in 1926 by the founder of Rolex, Hans Wilsdorf. With Tudor, Wilsdorf aimed to produce more affordable timepieces that paralleled Rolex’s standards of reliability and quality -- and his feat was, as it stands, a success: Tudor watches are celebrated today for their high-precision movements, contemporary look, and value for money.

When it comes to appearances, Tudor takes on a more daring approach than its older sibling. The brand distinguishes itself by adopting a more unique and experimental design language, such as the implementation of bolder-colored watch dials and integrated cases.

At a more accessible price point, Tudor is a good segue into the world of luxury watch collecting. Popular models include the epochal Black Bay line: a modern iteration of Tudor’s archetypal diver design from the 1950s. Collections also include the Pelagos, North Flag, and the Classic, as well as the more retro Heritage collection, which pays homage to the Manufacture’s iconic models from the past.
