While the players battle it out on the court, the stands brim with celebrities, royals, and sporting legends, many of whom are as renowned for their sartorial choices as their star power. This year, the spotlight wasn’t just on the action or the outfits, but on the wrists of the VIPs, where some of the world’s most coveted watches made dazzling appearances.

Jannik Sinner

After their epic finals at Roland-Garros just a short time before, Italian player Jannik Sinner avenged his loss by dethroning 2-time defending champion Carlos Alcaraz. During the trophy ceremony, he was seen wearing the Rolex Cosmograph Daytona Everose Gold ref. 126515LN-0006. The timepiece carries a market value of around US$53,000.

Iga Świątek

Iga Świątek didn't waste any time on her way to winning her first title at Wimbledon, as the Polish player inflicted a harsh 6-0, 6-0 score on young American player Amanda Anisimova. While raising her trophy, Świątek wore a classy Rolex Datejust 31 Oystersteel & White Gold with Diamonds.

Carlos Alcaraz

5-time Grand Slam winner Carloz Alcaraz will have to wait a bit longer to add a 6th title to his achievements after falling in 4 sets to Italian player Jannik Sinner. After winning the last two Wimbledon tournaments, he has to leave his slot for his rival in the hopes to reconquer it next year. Just like at Roland-Garros, Alcaraz wore the recently released Rolex Cosmograph Daytona Yellow Gold with turquoise dial, carrying a market value of around US$135,000.

David Beckham

The talk of the tournament among watch enthusiasts was by far the unique piece that Tudor made for Sir David Beckham to celebrate his 50th birthday. The former footballer, and noted watch collector, used the Tudor Black Bay Chrono as a base, and had Tudor create a sleek black dial with diamond hours markers, and diamonds set into the case and five-link bracelet.

Roger Federer

Tennis legend Roger Federer made an appearance in the Royal Box during this year's Wimbledon. On his wrist was none other than the Rolex Land-Dweller 40 Oystersteel & White Gold which he helped unveil earlier this year. While deliveries are slowly happening at authorized retailers, some have started appearing on the secondary market. The rarity of the pieces is what is pushing its secondary market value above US$50,000.

Mirka Federer

While her husband, Roger Federer, seems to be wearing more classical pieces from the Rolex catalogue, it's Mirka Federer who actually picks some of the rarest Rolex pieces to wear. Here she was spotted wearing an ultra rare Rolex Day-Date 40 Green Emerald Platinum with Emeralds & Diamonds.

Catherine, Princess of Wales

Catherine, Princess of Wales, kept it very simple around the grounds of the All England Club with a Cartier Ballon Bleu de Cartier Steel.

Leonardo DiCaprio

Actor Leonardo DiCaprio was also seen wearing the Rolex Land-Dweller 40 Oystersteel & White Gold at wimbledon. As a friend of the brand, that makes access to sought-after models very easy and Leo made sure to use that to his advantage.

Chris Hemsworth

How do you stand out among all the celebrities present at Wimbledon? You simply show up wearing one of the rarest watches currently available on the market. Actor Chris Hemsworth seems to understand that as he pulled up wearing a Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Double Balance Wheel Openworked in White Gold with Baguette-cut Swiss Topaz. The market value of this piece easily goes above US$600,000.

Tom Holland

Tom Holland is living his best life, enjoying special access to some of the most exciting sporting events. He seems to have taken a particular liking to his Rolex Cosmograph Daytona in Platinum with ice blue dial, given the many times he has been seen wearing it. The market value of this piece is quite stable and hovers around US$95,000.

Rami Malek

Actor Rami Malek made quite an impression at the All England Club with a sleek white suit to respect the dress code of the venue. On his wrist was the Cartier Tank Must de Cartier in Steel with a black dial.

Russell Crowe

It seems like celebrities are quite fond of the Rolex Cosmograph Daytona Yellow Gold with turquoise dial, and who wouldn't? Certainly not actor Russell Crowe, who wore it while enjoying the action on Center Court of Wimbledon.

Bukayo Saka

English football player Bukayo Saka was spotted with a Patek Philippe Nautilus Moon Phases Rose Gold ref. 5712/1R-001.

Jules Koundé

Originally from Paris, French football player Jules Koundé represented his city by wearing a special edition Cartier Cloche de Cartier “13 Rue de la Paix” Boutique Exclusive Edition in Platinum. The watch was part of a special series of watches made specifically for the original Cartier boutique situated in the heart of Paris.

Nicole Kidman

Long-time Omega brand ambassador Nicole Kidman kept it simple with an Omega Constellation Steel with Diamonds.

Daniel Ricciardo

"The Honey Badger" Daniel Ricciardo appeared relaxed at Wimbledon while wearing a Patek Philippe Complications World Time Flyback Chronograph Platinum with a green dial.

Stormzy

English-Ghanaian rapper Stormzy matched the green grass courts of Wimbledon with a Rolex Day-Date 40 Everose Gold with a green dial.

Maya Jama

British television presenter Maya Jama showed off a bit of her knowledge in watches by wearing a rare Rolex vintage Midas Yellow Gold with Coral Dial, valued at over US$30,000.

Jelena Djokovic

Jelena Djokovic was seen cheering on her husband, Novak Djokovic, during Wimbledon wearing an Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Double Balance Wheel Openworked Pink Gold. The watch carries a market value of around US$170,000.

George Russell

British racing driver George Russell showed up in style with a striped suit, paired nicely with an IWC Ingenieur Perpetual Calendar 41 in Stainless Steel.

Andrey Rublev

Russian professional tennis player Andrey Rublev could be seen on the courts playing with a Vanguart Orb Tourbillon in Titanium.

Emma Navarro

Emma Navarro, one of the few players wearing a watch during matches, picked the DeBethune DB28XS Starry Seas Titanium.
