The moment you’ve all been waiting for. Today, we reveal the winners of the Wristcheck x Audemars Piguet #YourTakeOnTheRoyalOak competition!
We want to say a colossal THANK YOU for inspiring us with your creativity and exuberance. We looked at every single one of your designs, and read every word you wrote. You truly are all winners in our eyes.
In fact, we were so blown away by your creations that having to choose just three winners was literally impossible — so we chose FIVE.
These designs were selected with the ultimate goal of having the watches actually produced.
And while there were so many exceptional ideas that we could only dream of one day bringing to life, feasibility was a huge deciding factor — the winning designs had to realistically be able to be made with the know-how and tools we have access to today.
We also had to consider the design’s applicability to the Royal Oak’s silhouette, as well as synergies in ethos. In essence, the design had to ring true to the DNA of the Royal Oak.
We also promised that anyone — with any level of technical ability — could win, as long as we resonated with the concept. We tried our very best to honor this.
