The Wristcheck x L’Epée 1839 Grenade Limited Edition of 88 pieces is a mechanical masterpiece that showcases the brand’s technical prowess at the highest of levels. A compact desk and mantel clock designed as a striking reminder of the ephemeral nature of time, the Grenade, at its core, encourages us to “pull the pin” – let loose, and live in the here and now. Modeled after the historical MKII grenade with a M6A4C fuse, this exclusive Wristcheck colorway features a pin – akin to the one found on the MKII – that doubles as the key, which when pulled, allows one to set time and also wind the eight-day movement. Symbolizing the importance of every passing moment, the Grenade displays the hours and minutes on two aluminum disks rotating directly over the heart of the clock. With its labyrinthine architecture comprising 255 components, this sleek table clock stands at 120.5 mm tall, 77.6 mm wide, and 66.6 mm deep, weighing approximately the same as a real MKII grenade at 620 grams. Powered by an in-house L’Épée 1839 movement that beats at a frequency of 2.5 Hz, the Wristcheck x L’Epée 1839 Grenade is clad with streamlined aluminum exteriors complete with a range of satin-brushed, polished and sandblasted finishes. With 180 years of storied history, L’Epée 1839 exists today as the only Manufacture in Switzerland to specialize in the production of high-end clocks.&nbsp;FAQDoes the timepiece come with a warranty?
