The Royal Oak is a legendary collection of watches from the Swiss luxury watchmaker, Audemars Piguet. It was first introduced in 1972, at a time when the watch industry was facing significant challenges due to the rise of quartz watches. Despite its initial unconventional design and use of materials, the Royal Oak quickly gained a loyal following among watch enthusiasts and collectors. Over the years, Audemars Piguet has introduced many variations of the Royal Oak, including models with complications such as chronographs, perpetual calendars, and tourbillons.&nbsp;An extremely special model presented here is The Royal Oak 30th Anniversary Italy Limited Edition ref. 15128ST.OO.0944ST.01. The timepiece is a rare and exclusive timepiece crafted in honor of the 30th anniversary of the brand's partnership with its Italian distributor. Only 50 pieces of this watch were made, making it a highly sought-after collector's item. The watch has a case diameter of 39mm and a thickness of 8.1mm and is made of stainless steel with brushed and polished finishes. The octagonal bezel is also made of stainless steel and implements eight white gold screws, which is a signature design element of the Royal Oak collection. The dial features AP's iconic "Grande Tapisserie" pattern in blue and has white gold applied Arabic numerals markers and hands. Another reason why this model ref. 15128ST.OO.0944ST.01 is particularly special because of an extra interchangeable olive dial also with the renowned "Grande Tapisserie" pattern. It becomes a highly versatile watch that you can dress up differently depending on the occasion, not only for formal events but for everyday activities as well. The timepiece is powered by the Calibre AP 2121 capable of 42 hrs of power reserve and 50m of water resistance.
