Graham

The Founder

Named for renowned British horologist Georges Graham, the history of Graham can be traced back to 1695 - when the brand was first established in London. Amongst a handful of other European watchmakers, Graham is widely regarded as a pioneering figure: responsible for inventing the stop-start chronograph and cylinder escapement.

 

After over two centuries of inactivity, the Graham name was revived by a consortium of Swiss and English investors in 1995, led by Swatch Group veteran Eric Loth.

History

A heritage brand that pays tribute to one of Britain’s “fathers of modern watchmaking”, Graham re-entered the international marketplace in 1995. Now based out of historic La Chaux-de-Fonds in Switzerland, the Graham label of the modern era has become synonymous with brash, materially innovative chronographs - best illustrated in the popular Chronofighter Superlight collection.

 

The brand has a significant following among motorsport drivers, such as Swiss motorcyclist Robin Mulhaser and the Dakar Rally driver Loic Minaudier.
