The Founder
One of two sons of JCB Chairman Lord Bamford, George Bamford began his eponymous watch customization house back in 2016 - off the back of an experiment involving the application of DLC coating to his personal Rolex.
A lifelong tinkerer and noted car collector, Bamford has continued to steer the direction of his eponymous brand over the past 7 years.
In that time, he has pursued a variety of strategic partnerships with some of watchmaking’s most intriguing personas: including industry heroes like Jean-Claude Biver - who helped turn Bamford into the de facto customization firm for LVMH - and Hiroshi Fujiwara, the shadowy mastermind behind Japanese design firm Fragment.
