Precision CNC-milling

The creation of each custom watch hand begins with precise measurements and advanced CAD renders, followed by precision CNC milling using a custom-built machine designed to meet the high tolerances of watchmaking, at just 0.005mm. Every detail is meticulously machined to match your watch’s exact specifications, from fine-tuning the length and thickness to perfecting the fitment of the hand-tube.

Hand-polishing & Hand-painting

After machining, the hands undergo meticulous hand-finishing, starting with hand-polishing and chamfering to perfect their contours. The black lacquered lines and pink eraser are then hand-painted with incredible precision. Each line, just 0.05mm deep, requires a watchmaker’s steady hand to bring out the design without flaw.

Assembled by a Watchmaker

Once the hands are complete, they are assembled by Wristcheck’s Swiss-trained watchmaker. The hands are adjusted for optimal tightness, so they move freely without causing damage to the dial or crystal. Our watchmaker checks the alignment for perfect parallelism and equal spacing (division), with final testing conducted to verify the watch’s functionality, including smooth operation during the date-change event. Only Wristcheck’s Swiss-trained watchmaker is able to handle this process, treating each piece with the utmost care and precision.
