Introduced in 2019, the UR-100V Iron merges Urwerk's original design with a new aesthetic in the shape of a fully metallic silver-tone case. Featuring Urwerk's emblematic satellite display with orbital hour markers circling the dial, the UR-100V allows the red-tipped hour marker in the bottom half of the dial to trace along the minutes display found just underneath. The other two hour markers on the left and right sides of the dial trace along two astronomical complications to display the distance travelled by Earth as it spins on its axis at 10 o'clock, and the distance travelled by Earth around the sun at 2 o'clock. Combining titanium and stainless steel, the UR-100V Iron's 41mm case features a plethora of hand-applied finishes and a tone-matching monochromatic cal. 12.01 movement – viewable in its entirety from above and below via the exhibition caseback or domed sapphire crystal.
