Released in 2020, the Rolex Oyster Perpetual collection received a rather drastic update with an entirely new movement, set of dials and even a new case design. Standing as the flagship references, the ref. 124300 introduced a new 41mm diameter case design to the family of iconic watches alongside Rolex's cal. 3230 movement, the same movement as in the no-date Submariner. Packing 70 hours of power reserve and a plethora of protection against shock and magnetism, this movement was the perfect upgrade to the watch that made its way to the summit of Mount Everest in 1953.
