Released at Baselworld in 2018, the Rolex GMT-Master II ref. 126710BLRO marked the long-awaited reintroduction of a stainless steel "Pepsi" into Rolex's catalogue. Based on the iconic ref. 6542 from 1953, the ref. 126710BLRO features a similar colour scheme with its blue and red Cerachom bezel and black dial - the reason for its soft drink-inspired nickname. Featuring a jubilee bracelet, the ref. 126710BLRO also marked the reintroduction of this iconic bracelet to the GMT-Master II collection. Powered by the automatic cal. 3285 movement, the Pepsi is a robust and capable everyday timepiece with a date and GMT function, as you might have guessed. Now existing as the posterchild of hard-to-find Rolex models, the ref. 126710BLRO signifies the extremely exclusive nature of modern Rolex sports watches and their incredible and unprecedented global demand.
About the brand +

Rolex – need we say more? It’s a household name sure to spark recognition across all corners of the globe, and, like its logo depicts, can without doubt be crowned the undisputed king of utilitarian Swiss watchmaking.
With its timepieces donned by the biggest names in the realms of sport, celebrity and even characters on the silver screen, it has nestled itself at the forefront of pop culture today, with models fondly nicknamed after icons like the ‘Hulk’, ‘Pepsi’ and ‘Kermit’, to name a few.
Although Rolex is the largest manufacturer of luxury Swiss chronometers in the world today, it was born into humble beginnings as a timepiece distributor in London, established by the 24-year-old Hans Wilsdorf in 1905. He eventually trademarked the name Rolex in 1908 and relocated its headquarters to Geneva, where Rolex is still based today.
At a time where wristwatches were but a whimsical daydream, Wilsdorf anticipated that timepieces were to one day be worn on the wrist, and, although they weren’t at the time, accurate.
To ensure precision and reliability of time-telling, Wilsdorf equipped his own timepieces with miniscule, intricate movements that had not been seen in the industry before.
Rolex has introduced a pioneering stream of world-firsts over the course of history. In 1926, it released the first waterproof and dustproof wristwatch ever -- the "Oyster".
1931 saw another epic feat from the titan: the invention of the world's first self-winding mechanism with a Perpetual rotor that captured kinetic energy from every minute movement of the wrist. This system revolutionised the watch industry and today acts as the beating heart of every modern automatic watch.
Other coveted models include the Day-Date, Submariner, GMT-Master and Daytona.
Reliable, durable and ever-so-aesthetically pleasing, Rolex has been and will continue to be loved by generations to come. A perfect gift for any special occasion – and certainly a crown for every achievement.
