After half a decade spent in-house at a design agency (helping to realise the work of Tissot, Hamilton, and Audemars Piguet) Clement Gaud ventured into the market with Laventure - originally a Kickstarter brand, inspired by the chronometers and precision timing instruments prevalent during the 1960s.

A veritable one-man-show, Gaud’s background in professional design has led him to favour a hands-on approach. Outside of manufacturing, the Laventure founder handles every aspect of a new watch’s rollout personally: from proof of concept all the way through to marketing. Design of Laventure’s products takes place in Neuchatel - just 18km from where the watches are produced.
