Introduced in 2016, the Moser Swiss Alp Watch burst onto the scene as a clear commentary of the modern smart watch. A “representation of the traditional, mechanical interpretation of the smart watch” as Moser call it, the Swiss Alp watch features a rectangular case design with rounded edges, a thin bezel and a sizeable crown that combine to conceal this mechanical masterpiece from those that aren’t in the know. Limited to just 50 pieces, the ref. 5324-1200 we have here boasts an entirely in-house movement that is encased within its stainless steel 38.2mm x 44mm rectangular case. The hand-wound cal. HMC 324 features an impressive power reserve of four days and comes proudly displayed behind the ref. 5324-1200’s exhibition caseback. As is typical with Moser, their dials are out of this world and the ref. 5324-1200’s dial is no exception. A fumé blue dial, it moves from bright electric blue at its centre to a dark navy in its corners which create an incredibly diverse array of blue hues as the watch catches different shades of light.
